We Collaborate With Others
"Alone we can do so little;
together we can do so much."
– Helen Keller
Nonprofit Connections
This collaboration was founded on the principle of sharing best practices and resources amongst nonprofit leaders in our community. The group participates in training sessions and helps build awareness of all the nonprofits in our area.
Public Service Announcement Collaboration
We, Sherburne County Area United Way, have recently narrowed our focus to highlight issues facing vulnerable youth. One issue that is typically not talked about is sex trafficking. It happens in every community, including our own. This group was formed to get the word out that sex trafficking is happening here in Sherburne County. The collaboration is made up
of several county agencies and nonprofits that agree that the issue of sex trafficking needs to be highlighted in our
community. #ItHappensHere2
This group of volunteer managers comes together five times a year to network, support each other, participate in training opportunities, and learn more about the ever-changing need for volunteers. The organization works together to recruit volunteers through a collaborative marketing effort utilizing newspaper, brochures, a traveling information display, and online resources.
